Very Disappointing Service

Ordered the Onyx Smoke Rectified Large Format Polished Stone Effect Porcelain (800mm x 1600mm) Floor & Wall Tiles on 29th July 2025, my tiler was due to start at the end of August and when he did he found that quite a few of the tiles were damaged on the edges, (this was possibly down to the packaging round them when they were delivered as it wasn't sufficient for the size and weight of the tiles) It says to check the tiles within 24hrs but this was physically impossible for me to do with the size and quantity that I ordered when I am on my own (9 boxes - 18 tiles). It was safe to say that we didn't have enough tiles so had to order another 5 more boxes (10 tiles) which I did on Friday 12th September @ 10.52am and requested and paid a lot more to get next day delivery. I was told the tiles would arrive Saturday or Monday at the latest, Monday came still no tiles so rang them a total of 6 times before anyone answered, the man on the phone was quite abrupt and defensive and told me they needed Friday to sort and pack them then Monday they would be collected by palletways and delivered Tuesday. After many calls again on Tuesday the tiles finally turned up at nearly 3pm. I hadn't received any correspondence that the tiles had even been despatched let alone try and track them. I wouldn't advise anyone else to be tricked in to their "next day delivery" as they definately charge for next day but don't deliver that service. They also advertise same day delivery, I am amazed how they can offer that when it takes 3 days to get next day delivery.
My 2* review however is for the tiles themselves as they are very nice when they are up just disappointing that we have had to purchase so many more because of damage to the edges and the dreadfull service.

After i had ordered the tiles they rang me up to check that the order was correct and to arrange a convenient delivery date. The tiles arrived intact and were exactly as they looked on the Web site. The tiles are absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. Will defo use this company again.

The service from this company I can’t spk highly enough of, loading the van for me etc etc, with nothing being too much trouble, the quality of these tiles are definitely the best I’ve come across with 30yrs of being in the building game, and also the brick slips I had from them earlier on in the year from these guys, will defo be using these guys again in the near future.
